For the sixth year in a row, the Downtown Scottsdale pizza destination Craft 64 has secured its place among the world’s most celebrated pizzerias, earning the No. 29 ranking in the prestigious 50 Top Pizza 2026 list. It was the only Valley destination to make the list.
As the highest-ranked Arizona pizzeria featured on the list, it also earned the distinction of being named the No. 1 pizza restaurant in Arizona. Only one other Arizona pizzeria, Penelope Pizza in Tucson, made the list, ranking at No. 41.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential global pizza rankings, 50 Top Pizza is an annual online guide that evaluates the best pizzerias across Italy and around the world, without style preference. Instead, the guide emphasizes excellence in its broadest sense, recognizing establishments that prioritize high-quality ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a cohesive dining experience.
Rankings are determined through a comprehensive assessment process that looks beyond the pizza itself. Taste, digestibility, and ingredient quality remain integral to the rankings, with equal weight given to service, ambiance, cleanliness, beverage offerings, and the overall well-being of the guests. From the attentiveness of staff and the strength of wine and craft beer programs to the design of the space and even the management of wait times, every detail contributes to a pizzeria’s final standing.
Craft 64 makes all of its dishes in-house from scratch, with no freezers, microwaves, or deep fryers on site. In addition to its extensive selection of pizzas, the restaurant offers focaccia sandwiches, salads, limited entrees, and Italian desserts. It also has an extensive list of beers, wines, and cocktails.
