Summer camp in the Valley is not like other summer camp options. A resort setting? Water slides? Outdoor exploration spaces? Check, check, and check.
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort is once again offering its popular Summer Day Camp, a luxury day camp “designed to deliver an unforgettable blend of adventure, creativity, and connection.” You don’t need to stay overnight or be a resort guest to enroll your children.
The camp is available in weeklong sessions from May 25 through Aug. 7, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rotating themes ensure that no two weeks are the same, so campers can enroll for multiple sessions and experience different experiences.

The sessions include arts and crafts, outdoor adventures and group games, swim time in the resort’s pools, teambuilding experiences, and skill development.
Lunch and snacks are included—as well as a T-shirt, lunchbox, and water bottle that become souvenirs when the session ends.
This summer’s themes are:
- Beach Party Week with sand art and ocean-inspired crafts
- Sports & Olympic Week featuring team competitions and games
- Paint, Sculpt & Create Week focused on hands-on art projects
- Animal Kingdom Week exploring wildlife and nature themes
- Under the Sea Week with aquatic adventures and creative play

Highly trained counselors at the resort’s Trailblazers Kids Club—who are equipped with certifications and safety training—run the sessions.
Summer fun, indeed.
