Scottsdale’s dessert scene is getting a new addition this spring. MilkShake Factory, which is known for its handspun milkshakes and small-batch, premium chocolates, is set to open a new location in May at Seville Shopping Center.

The location marks the brand’s second Arizona outpost, following the debut of its Chandler location in August 2025.

Owned and operated by local franchise partners Greg Harmon and Carsen Wisniewski, the Scottsdale location will bring the brand’s signature blend of housemade ice cream and generational chocolate craftsmanship to the area. The space is designed to feel like a modern neighborhood dessert destination, a place where families and friends can gather over classic shakes, sundaes, and handcrafted sweets.

Alongside its signature milkshakes, the menu will feature artisanal chocolates, chocolate bark, cake pops, and hand-dipped treats made fresh in-store.

MilkShake Factory’s story dates back more than 110 years to a family-owned soda fountain and chocolate shop in Pittsburgh. The company still uses its original family chocolate recipe today, pairing that heritage with a modern dessert concept that has been expanding into new markets across the country.

“Arizona has been an incredible market for us, and the response in Chandler confirmed that guests are looking for high-quality desserts served with genuine hospitality,” says Dana Edwards Manatos, founder and CEO of MilkShake Factory. “Scottsdale represents an exciting next step as we continue expanding in the Valley, and we’re proud to partner with Greg and Carsen to introduce our handcrafted milkshakes and artisanal chocolates to this vibrant community.”

The Scottsdale shop will feature the brand’s full menu of premium desserts, including its signature milkshakes made with housemade ice cream, customizable chocolate creations, and a rotating selection of seasonal specialties. Each shake is handspun to order, while chocolates are crafted in small batches daily.

The opening also reflects MilkShake Factory’s broader national expansion strategy, focused on bringing its family-founded dessert concept to high-growth markets while maintaining its emphasis on quality and hospitality.

Grand opening details, including special promotions and community celebrations, are expected to be announced closer to the May debut.
