From Lululemon, Tommy John and Pure Barre to Postino, Society Swan and Grimaldi’s—and so many more—destinations across the Valley are rolling out the red carpet with discounts from Fri., Oct. 17 to Sun., Oct. 26.

The special discounts are part of The Board of Visitors’ annual Care Card program, a unique 10-day fundraising campaign that has taken place locally each fall for 26 years. Participation is simple—those who purchase a Care Card for $60 receive a 20% discount at participating stores and restaurants across the Valley. This year’s list of participating locations is extensive (find it here).

Funds raised from card purchases support local charities serving the healthcare needs of women, children, and the elderly in Greater Phoenix. This year’s beneficiary is The BIG Pink Bus, a program of Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. This mobile imaging unit offers state-of-the-art 3D mammograms to women across the Valley, especially those living in under-served communities who may face barriers to accessing this life-saving screening.

“Since the Care Card program launched 26 years ago, Scottsdale Fashion Square has been a proud partner of The Board of Visitors and its efforts to support local charities,” says Melanie Sutton, senior marketing manager for Scottsdale Fashion Square, which has a considerable list of participating locales. “The program gives retailers a meaningful opportunity to support women in our community, and we’re honored to add our support again this year by raising funds for The BIG Pink Bus and Banner Health Foundation.”
