Village at Shea, a YAM Properties center located on the northeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard, is seeing some big changes. Arbor Pediatrics, formerly known as Scottsdale Children’s Group, recently opened its doors, while Coffee Plantation is about to complete a major renovation.
Coffee Plantation, a locally based concept since 1989, will reopen its doors in September after a major renovation. An anchor at the Village at Shea center since 2005, the location is expanding its offerings, which include coffee, tea, smoothies, and chef-driven food options, such as salads, sandwiches, pastries, and more. During the renovation, Coffee Plantation served guests on the patio.
“After more than a decade of ownership, we’re proud of the transformation and enhancements we’ve made at Village at Shea,” says Marta Kenny, director of operations at YAM Properties. “Our commitment to evolving the center remains strong, and we look forward to continuing to curate a diverse, forward-thinking tenant line-up that reflects the needs and energy of our community.
“YAM Properties is proud to welcome Arbor Pediatrics to Village at Shea,” Kenny continues. “The addition of a medical use marks an evolution in retail leasing by broadening our offerings beyond traditional retail. We are also celebrating the reopening of a Scottsdale staple, Coffee Plantation. This iconic local favorite will be reimagined with a fresh and elevated concept that honors its deep roots. Exciting changes are underway, and this is only the beginning.”
Village at Shea is home to Harkins Theatres Shea 14, and several retailers and restaurants, including Pita Jungle, Coconuts Fish Café, Butterfield’s Pancake House, and Cook & Craft.
