You may be hungry for food, but Angry Crab Shack is hungry to help. It’s a perfect match.
The Asian-Cajun seafood restaurant known for its seafood boil is bringing back its You Dine, We Donate campaign for the ninth year. For every guest who dines in at any Arizona location from now through July 31, the restaurant will donate 25 cents to nonprofits including the Boulder Crest Foundation, Wounded Warriors, the Pat Tillman Foundation, and the Arizona Housing Coalition.
Since 2017, the campaign has raised over $400,000 for these causes, and this year, the company set a goal of raising $100,000 to support military members, veterans, and first responders in need.
“Giving back is deeply embedded in our mission,” says Angry Crab Shack founder Ron Lou. “Partnering with veteran and first responder-focused charities allows us to support those who’ve sacrificed so much.”
Participating beverage brands contributing to the campaign include Deep Eddy Vodka, Corona, Modelo, Pabst, Lagunitas, Dos XX, Coors light, Miller lite, Abita, SanTan, Truly, White Claw, Angry Orchard, Huss/Papago Brewing, Heineken, and Heineken 0.0, Bud, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra and Kiltlifter. For each of these drinks sold, an additional 25 cents will be donated. Additional contributions can be made by purchasing limited-edition T-shirts, ordering select beverages from participating sponsors or making a direct donation in-store.
This year’s effort also includes First Responder & Veteran Family Day on July 3 (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at the West Mesa location with police, fire department demos, and tabling by participating nonprofits.
