Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is gearing up for its third year of the Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers Summer Slider Eating Contest—and is looking for contestants.
The preliminary rounds of the contest will be held on Sat., June 21 at 3 p.m. at all of its 18 Arizona locations (as well as its Texas location).
For this round, each winner must be the first contestant to finish 20 cheeseburger sliders in 10 minutes. Sides of au jus, water, and a bucket are provided.

Prizes for qualifying round winners at each Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers location:
- 1st place: $50 Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers gift card and bragging rights to compete in the championships at Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld, on the mainstage in front of thousands of fans.
- 2nd place: $25 Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers gift card
- 3rd place: Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers hat and signature seasoning.
These winners will then go on to compete before thousands of guests at the Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld of Scottsdale, which culminates with one of the largest fireworks shows in Arizona, produced by R Entertainment and M Culinary Concepts. To win this championship round, the contestant must eat 30 cheeseburger sliders in 10 minutes.
Championship prizes at the Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration include:
- 1st place: $500 AMEX gift card and Gold Canyon Meat Box
- 2nd place: Gold Canyon Meat Box and $100 CBCB Gift Card
- 3rd place: CB&CB Gift Box (hat, shirt, burger seasoning, CBCB swag & $50 CBCB gift card)
