After much anticipation, the luxury fine dining Shiv Supper Club opened to guests on May 14. In a word, both the supper club and its evening dessert transformation, The Dessert Room by Shiv, are stunning.
The new locale in Downtown Scottsdale brings the best of bold, innovative décor, paired with a unique food menu and innovative drinks, as well as live entertainment.
The Space
The space—a large 13,869-suare-foot destination—is unlike any other in the Valley. Sexy and seductive, obvious attention was paid to every detail. The more you look around, the more detail you see.
The anchor of the space is the central bar and its unique, sculptural tree. There’s additional cascading greenery; rich, modern textures; architectural elements; and atmospheric lighting.
Beyond the main restaurant, there’s also a lounge area and a private room for events.

The Food
Shiv offers a selection of creations that are both familiar yet unique. Think Nuggets and Caviar, a creation of crispy chicken nuggets paired with caviar and Tableside Truffle Butter, which are fresh-baked Parker House Rolls are elevated tableside with hand-shaved truffles folded into their house-made butter and served alongside hot honey for a savory-sweet finish. There’s also the Wagyu & Tallo beef program and entrees including the White Shrimp Bolognese, which uses shrimp and white wine in the Italian classic.
The menu was created by Riot Hospitality Group’s Culinary Director Dustin Cooke in collaboration with chef Jeff Mahin, the acclaimed restaurateur known for his work with the Michelin-starred Fat Duck, L2O in Chicago, Nobu, and Lettuce Entertain You.
Beginning at 10 p.m., the space transforms into The Dessert Room by Shiv, changing into a nightlife experience with entertainment and avant-garde desserts by acclaimed pastry chef Nundi Harris. Don’t miss out on the PB Cube, a glossy chocolate cube filled with peanut butter mousse and fudge brownie or the Dessert Caviar Service, a play on classic caviar service that instead uses dessert items.
“Dessert is no longer the end of the meal … it’s the start of something new,” says Justin Cohen, COO of Riot Hospitality Group. “The Dessert Room brings an entirely different vibe and energy to Scottsdale.”

The Cocktail Program
Cocktails also take center stage, with Beverage Director Lyndsi Mundy offering a menu of options that have a boundary-pushing flair. A few of the highlights include:
- Salt & Vinegar Martini: Vodka infused with salt & vinegar chips, pickle brine, dry vermouth, and pepperoncini, served with chips.
- Well Dressed: A mix of gin, vermouth, lemon olive oil, served with a side of salt & pepper popcorn.
- Cry Baby: A warming blend of Buffalo Trace bourbon, lemon, maple cinnamon syrup and grapefruit.

The Entertainment
At the front of the room a stage sets the backdrop for the live entertainment. The performances nightly performances include a selection of remixed house, pop, and feel-good beats, say restaurant representatives.
In all, the highly anticipated locale is poised to be one of Scottsdale’s most in-demand locales, with its mix of stunning décor, innovative food and drink offerings, and live entertainment.
“Shiv was designed to be unforgettable,” says Ryan Hibbert, CEO of Riot Hospitality Group (RHG). “From the theatrics of the service to the music, lighting, and atmosphere, every moment is curated to surprise and excite. It’s not just dinner… It’s a night you’ll talk about long after it ends.”
