The New Summer Menu at Z’Tejas Showcases a Variety of Crab Dishes
By Michelle Glicksman | June 29, 2023
Z’Tejas debuts its summer menu on July 3. Crafted to celebrate the essence of the season, the new offerings include a variety of dishes featuring crab.
The small plate offerings include Crab Cake (green onion, sriracha aioli, and pepper jack cheese); Street Corn (jalapeno aioli, cotija, tajin, and cilantro), and Bacon Wrapped Asparagus (corn relish and mango soy glaze), while the seasonal salad is the Crab Cake Salad (three crab cakes, corn relish, southwest ranch, and tortilla strips).
For entrees, diners can choose from the Crab Cake Sandwich (jalapeno aioli, pepper jack cheese and lettuce, served with fries) and Crab Stuffed Chicken (cilantro pesto chicken breast stuffed with jumbo lump crab meat, mized peppers, and mixed cheese, topped with roasted garlic cream sauce and served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables).
The seasonal cocktail is the Pineapple Mango Spritz (coconut rum, mango, lime, pineapple soda, and tajin).
In addition to celebrating seasonal flavors, each dish, which is available through September, demonstrates elevated Tex-Mex with a Southern flair.
