Talking Stick Golf Club’s New Major Renovation Adds Clubhouse Space, a Golf Shop, New Restaurant

Talking Stick Golf Club, a premier golf club in Scottsdale and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), recently completed a major renovation project updating its 25-year-old facility.
One of the main highlights of the undertaking is the renovation and expansion of the central clubhouse. The clubhouse, now 20,000 square feet, includes a brand-new golf shop, a new dining experience called The Talking Stick Golf Club Grill, a 200-person banquet space, a bridal suite, a groom’s room, a patio with fire pits, mountain views, and a ceremony space.
There is also a new golf academy, a sandwich house, an indoor and outdoor bar, three large hitting bays, and a shaded canopy at the main entrance. The parking lot was replaced, and a new roundabout was added.
“We were able to double the size of the clubhouse and make it an incredible event space for weddings, golf tournaments, banquets, and anything our guests may need,” says Roy Smith, general manager of Talking Stick Golf Club. “There are also beautiful cultural touchpoints throughout the new space to honor and appreciate the contributions of the SRPMIC community.”
As part of the SRPMIC, Talking Stick Golf Club partners with other community-owned entities, including Saddleback Communications, a telecommunication provider for Scottsdale and SRPMIC residents and businesses. Saddleback will provide phone and internet services, allowing guests to stay connected during their experiences at Talking Stick Golf Club.
“We have been working with Talking Stick Golf Club since 1998 when they first opened, and it has been a pleasure to see them expand, renovate, and serve our community,” says Bill Bryant, president of Saddleback Communications. “We are not only proud to be a partner of Talking Stick Golf Club, but we are excited for everyone to see the new and improved golf club.”
