Presley Homes built the homes in The Summit neighborhood in the late 1990s. Residents appreciate the sense of community and the family-friendly atmosphere in this area that feels far from the loud and complicated life in the big city. However, the location does afford access to all the essentials, such as shopping, dining, and dry cleaning service, just minutes from home. It is the perfect mix of desert life near the famed Taliesin West and McDowell Mountain, balanced with easy access to downtown, ASU, and Sky Harbor Airport.

Homes in The Summit range in size from around 1,800 square feet to over 2,600. Three to five bedrooms are standard in these mid to larger houses. However, there are a few that will offer just two bedrooms. The bathrooms provide a broad spectrum from two to four full baths and partial bathrooms or powder rooms included in common areas of the homes. Two and three-car garages are also the typical offering, with ample space in the driveway for guests. While the standard-shaped lots are not massive, they afford plenty of outdoor living and entertaining space, with swimming pools in many backyards.

The low to mid-$800s is a realistic starting point to purchase in The Summit. Of course, there are also many options with larger, irregularly shaped lots and bigger houses that reach into the $1M to $1.2M range. The community fees in the neighborhood are exceptionally reasonable at around $25 per month. In addition, the desert landscape in the area makes maintenance simple and affordable.
