The Las Casas neighborhood, also known as Casas Dia Festivo, is a small community of detached single-family homes at Mountain View and Hayden Roads. The community features the perfect location close to golf, the Mountain View Community Center, and the neighborhood schools, including award-winning Cochise Elementary, Cocopah Middle School, and Chaparral High School, for K-12. In addition, the well-established community includes a community pool and tennis court shared by the roughly sixty homes in the neighborhood.
Built from the early 1980s to the late 1990s, the community features midsize homes that are ideal for a growing family. They range in size from just over 1,660 to nearly 2,500 square feet. Most houses offer two or three bedrooms and the same number of bathrooms. However, because of the age of the homes, some have undergone renovations to alter the original floor plans and bathroom and bedroom counts.
