Long-time Valley restaurateur Maria Tobras has opened Kuko’s Nest, a new fast-casual Greek restaurant.

The restaurant offers Mediterranean foods focused on Greek-style chicken with counter service for dine-in, patio seating, take-out, and third-party delivery.

“We use our family recipes in this new venture. Everything is scratch made in the restaurant kitchen, including chicken dinners, kabobs, gyros, Greek-style potatoes, salads, and more. We have house-made loukoumades, the traditional golden puffs covered in honey syrup. This is the food of our childhood, and we’re eager to share it with everyone.” stated Tobras.

Tobras is the owner-proprietor of Feeney’s, the old-school steakhouse in Uptown Phoenix. Prior to that, she owned Zorba’s, an acclaimed Greek restaurant/club, in Rancho Mirage, California. The Tobras family are natives of Athens, Greece, and still maintain a home in the seaside town of Nafplion.
