In honor of Red Cross Month, a section of Scottsdale Quarter will be lit up in vibrant red in support of the American Red Cross in March. By lighting 73rd Place, the shopping center will show its support of the American Red Cross and its mission in the community. On March 22, the destination will show support for the Cause with American Red Cross Giving Day.

On Giving Day, the center will team up with the American Red Cross and Kendra Scott to raise awareness. Guests can shop at Kendra Scott’s Scottsdale Quarter location, and a percentage of each sale will be donated to the American Red Cross. The first 150 shoppers at Kendra Scott that day will also receive a free cotton tote. Funds raised on Giving Day can provide hope and urgent relief like food, shelter, and other essentials for families who need it most.

During Red Cross Month, volunteers are recognized and honored for providing hope and urgent relief to families in need in the face of life’s emergencies. More than 75 years ago, March was first proclaimed Red Cross Month in 1943 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to raise awareness of the organization and its humanitarian mission. Today, the organization continues to celebrate this month by asking everyone to be a hero for families in need.
