Crust Restaurant's $10 Tortellini Tuesday



Crust Restaurant is taking Tuesdays and kicking them up a notch! For the rest of 2015, Tuesdays will now be known as Tortellini Tuesdays with a new and irresistible tortellini featured each week.

The culinary team at Crust will continue to be creative throughout the year with their unique tortellini dishes, making each Tuesday a visit filled with tasty adventure. Best of all is that Tortellini Tuesdays are only $10!

Tortellini Schedule:

  • February 10-Roasted Garlic Alfredo Tortellini, with crispy pancetta on top
  • February 17-Sausage, Spinach and White Bean Tortellini, tossed in a chicken stock and parmesan broth
  • February 24-Alla Panna Tortellini, with prosciutto, onions, cream, sweet peas and mushrooms
  • March 3-Filletto Pomodoro Tortellini, with a light fresh tomato sauce
  • March 10-Alla Vodka Tortellini, with pancetta and onions, a touch of cream and marinara

The Merendino Family originally hailed from Sicily and settled in Long Island, New York. This family really knows pizza and authentic Italian food and still pays homage to their Italian roots through “Pizza Rustica.”

Growing up in Sicily, food was rarely wasted. Dough scraps leftover from making bread was saved, stretched out into thin and unique sizes and then topped with local ingredients. Michael Merendino brought the idea of “Rustica” to Phoenix where the concept behind Crust’s pizza is to offer it fresh, make it bursting with flavor and stay true to family traditions and recipes. The first Crust opened in 2007.

Now, Crust Restaurants includes two full-service locations-one in Scottsdale and one in Phoenix. There are also two satellite locations in the Phoenix Convention Center and at Salt River Fields.
