Model - Miss AZ USA 2015, Maureen MontagneVidogi Salon & Boutique has always been on the cutting edge of hair design and style. It is the mission of Vidogi to provide exceptional customer care and information on hair trends and tips as well as tricks to getting the perfect look and hairstyle.Co-owner, master stylist and beauty expert at Vidogi Salon & Boutique, Denise Tanigawa says, “Bobs and shaggy looks are really trendy right now.” Worn long or short, bobs and shags can be very versatile!
“Balayage is still really big, too,” notes Tanigawa. Balayage is a more natural and luminescent technique in hair color that is designed to look a little more natural and soft and it complements your individual skin tone. “Right now, people are still into vivid color trends, especially the younger generation,” says Tanigawa. Bright colors like purple, pink and blue typically last about four weeks before needing to be redone or blended.
Some great hair tips for the cooler weather:
- Instead of shampooing every day, shampoo every other day
- Invest in a shampoo and conditioner that is best for your specific hair type
- Use less heat in order to protect the ends of your hair
- Use only a mist of hairspray instead of a heavy coating to avoid hair breakage
- For those who have very oily hair, a dry shampoo is recommended instead of daily washing
There are some specific hair care products sold at Vidogi that Tanigawa recommends to clients. “We use Satinique. We have a revitalizing hair masque. We also have a very light hair spray that will give you a flexible hold instead of a stiff look. This hairspray will give you that natural look and you can still wake up the next day and you won’t experience any flakiness.”
To compliment your healthy hair, here are some trendy make up tips:
- Darker lips
- Vintage-style applied, darker eyeliners
- Eye shadow colors in plums, burgundy and deep brown
- A thicker, straighter brow is currently in style
“At our salon we use Artistry brand cosmetics,” Tanigawa states. Vidogi also offers full hair styling and makeup application services for parties and special holiday events.
