LunchClub.com Networking Celebrates Christina Wagner’s Birthday with Toys/Supplies Drive for Child Crisis Arizona
Author: Lynette Carrington
Birthdays should always be a fun, celebratory event! For Christina Wagner of Scottsdale.com, it is a time where she celebrates by giving back to others. The regular LunchClub.com Networking event that occurs monthly will take on a new meaning 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 as Christina Wagner opens her heart to share her special day at Eddie’s House restaurant to benefit Child Crisis Arizona. You’re invited, too!
This time, the LunchClub.com Networking event will have Arizona Celebrity Chef Eddie Matney opening Eddie’s House for lunch, exclusively for this special event. All guests are asked to bring a new and unwrapped toy or supplies for the children in Child Crisis Arizona centers and in its programs. The cost for lunch will be $20 cash at the front door. Eddie’s House is not normally open for lunch, so this is a special treat to have Eddie Matney welcome in the LunchClub.com Networking group.
Vice President of Business Development for City Brand Media and Scottsdale.com, Christina Wagner says, “I am thrilled to celebrate my birthday with personal, professional and networking friends while benefitting Child Crisis Arizona. I recently toured the Child Crisis campus in Mesa. I was so touched by all of the stories about the children who come to the organization and how Child Crisis helps them with all of their needs. I was also inspired by how Child Crisis helps so many families when they find themselves in very challenging situations.”
Wagner continues, “I was very excited when I heard that Chef Eddie Matney was opening his doors to us for my birthday networking event, and toys and supplies drive. I have long admired his culinary prowess and everyone that attends will get to experience just why Chef Eddie is so amazing. A few years ago I did a toy drive for Child Crisis and it was a big success! I want to make it even bigger and better this year for all of their wonderful kids.”
Eddie’s House is located at 7042 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale. Please bring $20 cash to the door to cover the cost of lunch. Space is limited to 90 people. RSVP by Friday, December 11 to [email protected] and indicate your lunch entrée preference (see entrée selections below).
