If you are considering engaging with this plant medicine, this group discussion is a great educational opportunity to hear insights from an experienced ceremony leader, journeyer and faciliator with about a decade of experience with this medicine. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about preparation and what to expect before, during and after a ceremony. Because this plant medicine has become so trendy and hip, it is even more important to ask questions and understand why you want to do this, who you will be sitting with and what their intentions are in offering this sacred ceremony. Ceremonies aren't concerts or events where you just buy a ticket to attend, show up and hope for the best. This can be a powerful path to deep healing, but please be aware that you are opening up and entering other dimensions that are very real.
Please note, this is meeting is not an endorsement to use the medicine, and it is NOT for everybody. This meeting is simply a chance to educate yourself further and to hear about the many experiences from someone who, over the years has traveled to Peru many times, studied with a well known and highly reputable Shaman, learned to navigate while in the medicine and has successfully lead many, many ceremonies. As with anything, do your own research and due diligence, this type of experience should not be entered into lightly. Exercise prudence and wisdom.
We will also discuss many other healing modalities that facilitate deep healing and change that do not involve taking any type of 'medicine' 'tea' or substance. Just because some people cannot, for whatever reason, take Ayahuasca, doesn't mean there aren't other ways to heal.
Hobnobs Cafe, is only a meet up place and has no involvement with this event.
We will have a sign at our table that reads "Insights" so that you can easily spot us and feel free to get something to eat or drink. See you soon!!
